  • What is the size of your box?
    Each boxes equals 2.3 cubic feet of packing space and are 22” Long x 12” Wide x 15” High.
  • How much weight can a box hold?
    Our boxes hold approximately 60 pounds of items or 2.3 cubic feet of packing space.
  • Are your boxes cleaned?
    Yes. On every box we use a high pressure compressed air to clean out anything left behind and then each box is wiped cleaned after every rental.
  • What areas do you service?
    We deliver to all of Salt Lake County, and some of Utah and Davis County. Please call our office at 801-834-6781 to see if we deliver to your area. Or click on our Order Now page and fill out how many boxes you would like and then add them to your cart. Then check our delivery area to see if your Zip Code is listed. If your Zip Code is listed we service your area. If your ZIP Code is not listed we do not service your area. There is no charge to pickup your boxes at our office. Outside Our Delivery Area For those customers outside of our delivery / pickup area some of our customers have used Roadie. Roadie is a delivery / pickup platform that connects people with drivers that have unused space in their vehicles that are heading in their direction.
  • How soon can I receive your boxes?
    You can pickup or we can deliver your boxes within 24 to 48 hours.
  • How do I order and pay for my boxes?
    You can order and pay with your credit card or debit card online by clicking on our Order Now page. We are also happy to take your order / payment over the phone at 801-834-6781.
  • Is there a delivery charge?
    Yes. Please call our office at 801-834-6781 to find out the delivery charges for your area. Or click on our Order Now page and fill out how many boxes you would like and then add them to your cart. Then check our delivery area to see if your ZIP Code is listed. If your ZIP Code is listed the price for your delivery will be displayed next to your Zip Code. If your ZIP Code is not listed we do not service your area. There is no charge to pickup your boxes at our office. Outside Our Delivery Area For those customers outside of our delivery / pickup area some of our customers have used Roadie.   • Do I need to be present for a delivery or pickup?
    Yes. Someone 18 or older needs to be present to sign for the boxes. A signature is required for delivery and pickup.
  • What if my delivery or pickup address has Stairs?
    Our standard delivery of our rental boxes is to a ground floor address. Delivery / Pickup locations with Stairs will require an additional fee of $29.99 per Flight of Stairs. (A Flight of Stairs consist of 12 Steps.) ​​Note: If you are picking up / dropping off your boxes at our office or you do not have Stairs at your delivery / pickup location, this fee will not apply.
  • What payment types do you except?
    Visa, Master Card, Discover Card, and American Express.
  • How do I schedule a pickup?
    To schedule a pickup. Please call our office at 801-834-6781 Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and we will be happy to schedule your pickup.
  • If I choose to pickup my boxes where do I pick them up?
    We are located at 450 East 2200 South (Wentworth Ave) Salt Lake City, Utah 84115. Our pickup hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Directions To Our Office We are conveniently located at 450 East and 2200 South (Wentworth Ave.) For those familiar with the Sugar House area, we are directly South of St. Ann's Catholic Church and School. (Between the ball field and the Trax S-line) If you are coming off I-80, take the 700 East exit. Go North to 2100 South. Turn left (West) and go to 500 East. Turn left (South) again to 2200 South (Wentworth Ave). If you are coming from I-15, take the 2100 South exit and go East to 500 East. Turn right (South) to 2200 South (Wentworth Ave). Turn right. (West) The sign on the building says PortaBox Storage. Utah Box Rental is a division of PortaBox Storage. Please come into the office. We will have you sign some paperwork, and then direct you to our pickup / receiving area.
  • What if I want to add more boxes to my account after I've had the boxes delivered or I've picked the boxes up?
    Not a problem. Just call our office at 801-834-6781 or go on to our website and click on Order Now and order more boxes. Additional boxes are charged based on the package price you order. Additional delivery charges will apply if you have us deliver the boxes to your location. There is no charge for you to pickup the boxes at our office at 450 East 2200 South (Wentworth Ave) Salt Lake City, Utah 84115.
  • Do I need tape for my boxes?
    No. Our boxes have attached, interlocking lids that seal without tape. For added security you can purchase Zip Ties from us to secure the lids of each box. We sell 20 Zip Ties for $2.00. You can order as many as you need.
  • Can I purchase your boxes?
    Yes. We charge $29.99 per box. If you are interested in purchasing boxes please contact our office at 801-834-6781.
  • If I return the boxes early do I get a discount?
    No. Sorry we do not offer discounts on early returns.
  • What happens if I lose or damage a box?
    No problem. There will be a charge of $29.99 per box that is lost or damaged.
  • Is there a cancellation fee?
    There is no cancellation fee if we have not charged your credit card and you have given us a 24 hour notice. If we have charged your credit card there is a fee of $25.00.
